Why not just learn from AI or online self-study?

Leading people in an organisational context, especially when it gets challenging, is fundamentally about human connection and human values. Self-study with AI, an online study programme, a video or a book, all have their place. They can give you theory, tips and examples. Increasingly AI can help you practice. However, in my experience of working on programmes which combine training and coaching with these other resources, feedback from the participants has consistently been that the training and coaching had the most impact. It is generally experienced as the most enjoyable, engaging and personally tailored and therefore most impactful.
